Mount Airy City Schools request bids for 5 years with two (2) 1-year extensions. At Jones Intermediate, Tharrington Primary School, and Mount Airy Middle School, they are requesting a minimum of 1 Gbps and a maximum of 10 Gbps. At Mount Airy High School (aggregate site) and Central Office, they are requesting a minimum of 10 Gbps and a maximum of 50 Gbps. Quotes must include all taxes and fees. Bandwidth and the number of sites served over the length of the contract may increase or decrease with an amendment to the contract. Submit proposals to both the Dropbox link https://www.dropbox.com/request/zeulcmbwph7jefnv8xpr and erate@mtairy.k12.nc.us by 11:59 PM prior to the allowable contract date (ACD). Bids are sought for a leased lit fiber WAN. Please see the RFP. Questions should be submitted to the URL https://forms.gle/2Km7KT6GiixVTZDu5 rather than to a Technical Contact. Questions and Answers will be uploaded in the RFP section of this 470 in EPC. Bids must include the WAN Pricing spreadsheet. Quotes are also sought for Month-to-Month service. This is not a redundant service. This is to provide WAN connectivity in the event the contracted service is not in place by the intended service start date. Proposals that are autogenerated without addressing the need presented in the RFP or area a catalog of options will be disqualified. Proposals are due by September 28, 2026, 2:00 PM EST . Procurement laws of the state apply to all purchases and contracts. Submitted bids should reference this Form 470 number, this entity number and entity name. Winning bid vendor must assist with the Bulk Upload Template of the Form 471. Bidders must comply with the Lowest Corresponding Price per FCC rules. All fees and taxes must be included in the quote. Charges ineligible for E-rate funding must be broken out. The applicant may consider multi-year and/or contracts with voluntary extensions. Any voluntary contract extension must be identified within the awarded contract and must be of specified duration. Contracts must have flexible terms to allow for increased/decreased needs over the life of the contract. Failure to comply with any of these requirements will disqualify the bid.
